Typically 50–70% for videos not already heavily compressed. A 100MB screen recording often becomes 20–40MB with barely noticeable quality loss.

Will the video resolution change?

No by default — 1080p stays 1080p. We reduce the bitrate rather than the resolution. You can optionally choose a lower resolution for even smaller files.

What format is the output?
